Public-i R500 Portable webcasting station:

The R500 unit has been designed to provide an extremely portable webcasting solution. The system consists of a single camera (either Sony D100 or Canon XM2 as shown opposite), microphone(s), laptop sized encoder and all associated cables. With equipment cut to a minimum the unit can be easily carried in its own rucksack and quickly set up at any venue.

The product comes loaded with Public-i Studio the full Public-i support service and bandwidth and hosting for an agreed number of hours webcasting per year.

Provision of the required hardware, software and onsite resources to capture and transmit an event / conference / breifing. Service includes the provison of a bespoke web-transimission page which can incorporate spekaer detials, presentations, relevant contextual information, indexing (for the archive), transcription, translation (incl multilingual pages), British Sign langauge, and interactive features such as polls surveys and consultations

Fixed Webcasting systemFixed Webcasting system

Public-i F500 Fixed webcasting facility.
The F500 is a permanent installation in a single location. Cameras are discretely installed within the venue and all requisite cables concealed in cable runs and terminated at the operator station. The operator station consists of the encoder, monitor, keyboard, mouse, video switcher and back-up DVD recorder. The operator station can either be a fixed unit as shown or the D500 above can operate as the control station providing flexibility to both fixed or offsite locations.
The product comes loaded with Public-i Studio the full Public-i support service and bandwidth and hosting for an agreed number of hours webcasting per year.

Mobile Media Unit (MMU)Mobile Media Unit (MMU)

The North Lincolnshire Councils' Mobile Media Unit enables us to deliver ICT training into every community and business park within North Lincolnshire. It has satellite internet connectivity for global broadband coverage.

The units four workstations, each equipped with GPRS Internet access and the latest software enable the Mobile Media Unit to be fully functional throughout the county and across a wide range of events and activities.

In 2003 over 200 people used the facility for training across projects such as the Priory Gardens regeneration project, the ICT4SMEs project and the Healthy Living project whilst countless others have accessed it through both our promotional and broadband campaigns around the county.

Cost: £200 per day

Public-i D500 Mobile webcasting station.
The D500 unit has been designed to provide a totally mobile webcasting solution. All hardware required to capture a webcast including two remote control cameras (with the ability to connect to more) and associated cables; delegate microphone system, encoder, keyboard, monitor, mouse, video switcher and DVD recorder are neatly contained within two stackable, wheeled flight cases. The D500 is quick to set-up and pack away and has been designed with simplicity in mind.
